LDKS 3'26

LDKS 3'26      LDKS (Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa) is a program held by the school to improve students' leadership skills, in terms of independency, physical and mental strength, teamwork, discipline, and other aspects that relates to being a perfect leader. This program is designed as it is to give the students an outlook on how hard someone can be and can take. Normally, this program exists in many schools and has 10th graders as participants. Also, LDKS is not managed by teachers or the school's managements, but by the military training school. The students will live for a few days under the military standards. As a 10th grader, I got to experience this program and I do think this program gives out many benefits to both students and teachers. (Thesis/Introduction)      Firstly, 10th graders are teenagers who are, mostly, have characteristics such as unruliness, procrastinating, sloppy, and chaotic. With LDKS, students are forced to be disciplin...

My 2024 Resolution~

My 2024 Resolution~     In 2023, many things happened. I would say being accepted into SMAN 3 is one of my major events. As a new student in SMAN 3, the 1st semester was really hard for me, as it is too for others. We took a long time to adapt in this school. My goal wasn't to get good grades, my goal was to pass all of my classes. Now, as a new semester has begun, it's time to be more advanced in every classes. In the academic part of my life, I do have some things I hope to achieve this year, moreover this semester, which are: Be more active in classes, whether by asking questions or answering questions. From what I've seen, being active in class is a sign of active learning and understanding materials perfectly.  Get better grades in science. As someone who claims to love science, my grades aren't as good as I wanted it to be.  Being active in an organization. Last semester, I got accepted in PK, an organization in our school. Hence, I would try to be a good...

Me, Myself, and I: Faustina Nurhandini

Me, Myself, and I: Faustina Nurhandini      Hi, I'm Faustina Nurhandini from X-1 at High School no. 3 in Bandung. You can call me Dini. I'm from Salman Al Farisi Junior High School, and I'm excited to be a high schooler! I know, some say that in High School no. 3, you don't really have the freedom you'd get in other public schools. But, nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to blend in and get comfortable with the busyness here. So, to begin my journey in high school, here's some interesting facts about myself.      Am I an ambitious kid? Well, a little, yeah. Not getting good enough grades can quite literally make me feel awfully depressed. And with 'good enough grades', I mean my definition of good grades, not the school's minimum grade.
